Steak knife set
Great, affordable set. I bought one years ago, added a second one last year, and now I've given one to my brother-in-law, who also really likes it. The wooden boxes are sturdy and in perfect condition. I highly recommend it and give it a positive review.

The packaging, or rather the wooden box, is the cheapest junk; everything was broken. Whether the cutlery itself is any better remains to be seen.

Broken and uncooperative
Warning before buying! I ordered this set as a gift and unfortunately received it in a damaged box. After some back and forth and a complicated damage report, WMF told me they couldn't send me an undamaged set. They said such damage is very common during shipping. WMF couldn't offer me a repaired product, nor a partial refund for keeping the damaged one (in which case I would have found alternative storage myself). I strongly advise against buying this set if you also want the cutlery tray.

Warning! The cutlery set arrived in a broken box, which is doubly frustrating since it was intended as a gift. After a rather lengthy damage report and a lot of back-and-forth correspondence, I was informed that WMF unfortunately couldn't send me an undamaged set. They said such damage is common during transport. As a small compensation, they offered me a €10 voucher valid for three months with a minimum order value of €50. So, it's completely useless to me... WMF refused my suggestion of a partial refund for the broken box. I'm now returning it and will definitely never order anything again that isn't made entirely of metal. I strongly advise anyone considering buying this set against it!
