No more awkward reaching behind the machine or spilling water. - The aroma and taste of the coffee specialties are of barista quality. The milk froth is simply divine. Not only is the milk and froth significantly hotter than with other machines – undoubtedly due to the WMF Perfection's innovative milk system – but the froth's consistency is also noticeably creamier and lasts longer than I've ever experienced before (using the same milk). Thanks to the self-cleaning programs for both the brewing unit and the milk system, cleaning the WMF Perfection is incredibly easy. My overall impression is overwhelmingly positive. Admittedly, the WMF Perfection 890L comes with a hefty price tag. But for anyone who values the finest coffee experience at a true barista level, this machine is perfect.

The display is easy to understand, and setting up the individual parameters is self-explanatory. After switching it on, you're guided through the settings menu and can set the date, time, water hardness (tester included), and whether to use the water filter (also included). Then you can get started and enjoy your first coffee. You can create a separate menu for each of up to four people, so that each person's preferred drinks with their individual settings are immediately available. For all coffee drinks, you can adjust the coffee strength and the size of the beverage. The milk system cleans itself at the touch of a button after every coffee drink. When it's time to clean the nozzles, the system indicates this and guides you step-by-step through the removal, cleaning, and reinstallation process. Totally easy. The water tank has a 2-liter capacity, and the coffee grounds container is so large that it doesn't need emptying after just a few coffees. We are extremely happy with this fully automatic coffee machine and highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

With the help of descriptions and photos, you can prepare cappuccinos, latte macchiatos, and all other beverages of the highest quality. The dual thermoblock technology affects not only the beverage itself but also the milk foam. The WMF Perfection is also optimized for milk and tea, ensuring a smooth milk foam that is neither too runny nor too stiff. Milk is dispensed from a high-quality glass milk container, which is not standard on all WMF appliances. The WMF milk system is on par with those used in large catering establishments. Cleaning is well-designed and done at the touch of a button. The water tank can be easily removed from the front. Thanks to this simple cleaning process, the appliance remains highly hygienic regardless of the amount of beverage prepared. We were also completely impressed by the appliance's performance.

Since we got this machine, every wish has been fulfilled. With this machine, you have a selection of 18 specialties, with or without milk foam. From coffee and espresso to tea, you can prepare everything with just one click, and everything tastes great. The highlight for us is the self-cleaning function of the brewing unit and milk system, as well as the ability to save many individual settings such as coffee temperature, milk foam quantity, and coffee quantity. I can save these in different profiles, so I can always select my favorite mix with the touch of a button. We can truly recommend this machine to anyone who values delicious coffee like you'd get in a café. Everything about it is perfect; you don't have to compromise with this machine. You have everything in one beautiful, elegant, fully automatic machine.

We already own a fully automatic coffee machine from another brand and wanted to replace it with a seemingly better one. The WMF 890L appeared to be the perfect replacement for our existing machine. I really like the design and build quality of the machine. It makes a very high-quality impression and enhances any kitchen. I also personally really like the ambient lighting. The WMF 890L is quite large and very heavy, taking up almost twice as much space as other machines. The WMF coffee machine can prepare 18 different beverage specialties, so everyone should be able to find their favorite. These include, for example, café au lait, cappuccino, latte macchiato, frothed milk, black tea, coffee, and much more. You can create up to 16 user profiles to save your favorite drinks. The setup is very easy and straightforward thanks to the step-by-step on-screen instructions. We tried several different specialties and, unfortunately, weren't completely impressed. The milk drinks are unfortunately lukewarm, so if you want to enjoy a leisurely latte, you should be quick… Furthermore, the milk foam isn't very high. Our old machine does a much better job. For almost €2000, I expect more. Another point of criticism is that you can only select M, L, or XL for a latte, for example. There's no way to adjust the milk quantity (how many ml). This is a real shame, as other machines in a lower price range do this much better. The milk system is quite good, but the bulky part on the hose is a bit annoying; we always use a cup for the milk without the metal hose. In my opinion, this could be improved. Since we prefer latte macchiato or cappuccino, this unfortunately isn't the right machine for us, as the functions for these drinks could be expanded.
