BBQ LONO 2-LEVEL MASTER-GRILL

The WMF Profi Plus Urban Master Grill impresses at first glance with its attractive design. Visually, it's undoubtedly a successful product. Unfortunately, practical experience tells a different story. The first unit I purchased in March 2023 completely failed in July of the same year. WMF generously replaced the grill with a new one. However, this one also didn't last long: In April 2025, the same defect occurred; the device would no longer switch on. Another inquiry with customer service proved disappointing. Since the warranty had expired, any repair or goodwill gesture was refused. Instead, WMF merely offered a voucher for a new purchase – a solution that inspires little confidence given the repeated failures. Conclusion: Despite its appealing design, the technical reliability is insufficient. A significantly longer lifespan would be expected for a device in this price range. I therefore cannot recommend this grill.

We purchased the Urban Grill directly from the WMF online shop in June 2023. After just over two years, the appliance is already broken. The authorized service partner quoted us a repair estimate of over €230. For a product in this price range, this is extremely disappointing – we expected a significantly longer lifespan. A breakdown after such a short time practically renders the appliance a total loss. We had hoped for more goodwill and a customer-friendly solution from WMF. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We can no longer recommend this brand-name product.

The grill is great!

Very cool grill

The exact same thing happened to us as to Andrea. When we first used the product, it worked perfectly. But after about 10-15 uses, it started tripping all the circuit breakers in the house. After that, we couldn't use it at all for a while. After moving to a new apartment, we were able to use it another 2-3 times, but then the same problem started again. The breaker trips with a very strong electric shock, which caused great fear in our home. No one in the family wants to see this device in the house again. We contacted customer service, who were very friendly and helpful and asked us to send the device to technical service. The device has been there for two weeks now, but we haven't heard anything yet. We are very surprised, as we have been using this brand for generations and have never had such a problem before.

We bought the WMF electric grill a year ago and used it maybe 10 times until 2-3 months ago. Since then, the fuse in the house keeps tripping. WMF referred me to Beutelschmidt Service. It's been there for 5 weeks. Despite inquiries with both WMF and the service company, we haven't received an acknowledgment of receipt, a reply, or our grill back.

We bought this grill for our three-person household, in case the weather is bad and we have to grill on the patio. The grill's workmanship is simply superb and it's absolutely worth the price. Yes, let's get grilling! There are no cold spots. The food cooks evenly and is easy to clean afterward. All in all, it's a fantastic companion for us. In terms of grilling quality, it's in no way inferior to a grass grill and is a great alternative for us. Thanks to our solar panels on the roof, we can grill practically for free.

It took me a couple of glances to realize that the grill has an integrated oven. How brilliant! I was immediately hooked and had all sorts of ideas running through my head. Conveniently, we finished building our patio last year and are now furnishing it, so the WMF grill is more than welcome. We find the design very appealing and modern. The touch display is also intuitive and easy to use. The instruction manual is very helpful in this regard. The knob is a good size, but it could be a bit smoother to turn. As expected from WMF, the workmanship is excellent, and the cast iron plates live up to their promise! Wow – they're heavy! But let's move from theory to practice: We fired up the grill and the oven simultaneously. The grill was ready a bit faster. So, on went the food. Interestingly, the temperature gauge immediately shows a drop in temperature when you open the lid. We find the digital display very convenient, as it gives you a better sense of the temperature than a needle, which is never as accurate. After using the grill and oven, we can say that the sausages turned out especially well. Perfect browning on all sides. This is due to the very even heat distribution combined with the really thick cast iron plates. Chicken drumsticks and other meats grilled without any problems. We usually use grill mats (to save ourselves the cleaning), but we left them out for this test. We lightly oiled the food beforehand, so nothing stuck. Since we always clean everything as soon as we're finished grilling, we don't have any problems with food sticking or anything like that. We grilled vegetables in the oven. With quick and excellent results. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and thanks to the light, we could keep an eye on them without having to open the oven. We also baked small flatbreads in it, and I even made a small brownie. We love the large handles, which make opening the grill and oven effortless. They also don't get hot, so you don't need gloves. The Urban Master Grill has even completely won over my (electrician) husband! We're looking forward to many more great barbecues and delicious meals!

We already had a gas grill, but I didn't like using it when my husband wasn't home. I'm thrilled with this electric grill. It was easy to assemble and is very stable. The food cooks evenly, even at the edges. The power is impressive, even when we have several guests. The oven is a great little bonus; we like to use it to make potato wedges or other vegetables to go with the meat. I also love that you can use it on the balcony without any worries. Cleaning is easy, and many of the parts are dishwasher safe. The whole family loves it.
