That's how you ruin your name…
…by offering a disastrously bad product (too little capacity, battery dead every 6 weeks, buttons too unresponsive, shuts off too quickly, flimsy construction, etc.) at an exorbitant price and doing nothing about it after clear criticism (see reviews here). Are the positive reviews even authentic…?

Maximum weight: 2 kilos. It's incredibly rubbish for these prices.

I'm so disappointed; I expected better quality from WMF. The battery keeps dying. It's touch-sensitive, and the display doesn't always work.

Waste of resources
First off, I rarely review products, but this one annoyed me so much that I want to spare others the same frustration. In my opinion, all the good reviews are either fake or the people using the scale only use it twice a year. I can't understand why WMF still carries this piece of junk. The touch buttons are a disaster. The scale is so poorly designed that pressing the buttons without any weight on it makes the whole thing lift off. On top of that, it switches off incredibly quickly, and thanks to the ridiculous touch buttons, you can't turn it back on. Therefore, the scale is completely useless for weighing multiple ingredients.

Unfortunately, not worth the money.
Even if the scale isn't used, the batteries are dead after six weeks at the latest and need to be replaced because the scale becomes unusable – it switches itself off immediately after being turned on, displaying the message "LO". Now, even replacing the batteries doesn't help. The scale simply displays "LO" and shuts down. It looks brand new, was hardly used, and now seems to be nothing more than high-end junk. This is a surefire way to ruin your reputation.

Visually very appealing scale
received it as a free gift from BAUR in early summer 2021. It looks great and does its job perfectly. I like to use it to weigh letters so I can stamp them correctly. The color and material are fantastic!

Very good scale, looks nice, and is very easy to use; it also indicates when the battery is low.

Design flaw!
New batteries are needed after two to three months! And the batteries still have 2.7V. Perhaps the threshold for the "LO" indicator is too high. The scale switches off too early. If you weigh several items and aren't quick enough and don't remember the intermediate result, you have to throw away the weighed items or the recipe won't work correctly. The operation takes some getting used to.
