The vegetable peeler broke.
Unfortunately, the vegetable peeler broke when I tried to peel an apple. The no-name peeler from Woolworth was five times cheaper and is still going strong.

Sharp tool for gently peeling fruit and vegetables
As the title suggests, it's ideal for peeling fruits and vegetables. The handle fits comfortably in my hand. I also occasionally give this vegetable peeler as a gift to young people. The price is a bit high, but it's better than the cheap junk you sometimes find elsewhere. A small, quite affordable gift.
