Room for improvement
The peeler is sharp, but the peeled-off peel is far too thick. Unfortunately. My previous WMF model was a proper vegetable peeler.

5 years of loyal service
I've been using this peeler for several years now and have banished all others from my kitchen. Unfortunately, it's now really dull, so I'm buying a new one, hoping it will last for years again. Incidentally, I've always washed it by hand, just like the sharp knives, which I intend to keep sharp.

I'm otherwise really happy with my WMF products, but this vegetable peeler is simply unusable; it's like trying to peel vegetables with the back of a blunt knife. I can't peel cucumbers, carrots, or any other vegetables with it.

Doesn't deserve a single star!!!!!
It only peels sometimes, even with maximum pressure. The peels get stuck in the cutters. The device is too heavy! It's incredibly fiddly, time-consuming, and frustrating.

I expected more from a WMF peeler.
only live in a two-person household and cook accordingly. But every time I have to use the peeler, I don't enjoy cooking. The peels constantly get stuck in the blade and prevent me from making a clean cut. Plus, I have to use a lot of force to get the peel off at all. And even when I finally manage to peel it, the high (necessary) pressure means I end up peeling off a lot of the vegetable itself. It's a no-go; I'm going to get a different one.
