Aesthetically pleasing only as long as you don't use it.
My board! It looks really great and is very practical with the handles and non-slip feet. Unfortunately, after only 3 months, my board cracked in the middle, over 10 cm long. I only used it for cutting bread or vegetables, rinsed it under running water, dried it immediately, and left it to air dry. As another reviewer has already mentioned, my board also has light cut marks, which suggests that the wood was stained/dyed dark on the outside. What a shame – for the price, I expected better quality.

Satisfactory
Initially, I was thrilled with the look and thought WMF's quality spoke for itself. Unfortunately, I was disappointed, as the board already had such a deep scratch after just ONE use that it completely ruins its appearance. Normal wear and tear is perfectly acceptable, but such deep damage is unacceptable. Furthermore, while customer service/support listened to my complaint, they didn't offer any compensation or even a small gesture. As a result, I'm stuck with my now defective product without a replacement, refund, or price reduction. I sincerely hope this issue is addressed!

Scratched surface after one use
The board looks very nice, but unfortunately the surface isn't colorfast. I used it twice with a regular vegetable knife, and the color came off at the cut edges, leaving unsightly light scratches everywhere. The board is no longer an eye-catcher because the scratches are so noticeable. It's a real shame. I wouldn't recommend it! The wood is of extremely poor quality.

High-quality and lighter than you think
The cutting board is superbly crafted; small rubber feet prevent it from slipping. Visually, it's a real eye-catcher in any kitchen.

A very nice cutting board that's also visually appealing. The size is ideal, especially the height. Thanks to the material and texture, there are hardly any signs of wear; simply rinse it under water! The suction feet also ensure stability. My only complaint is the lack of care instructions. These should definitely be included. The board isn't cheap, so this information should be provided!
