very enjoyable cutting board
I have been using it for a bit under a month and I like it a fair bit. Admittedly, right out of the package it had — and to an extent still has — a bit of an artificial smell (presumably from the long contact with the packaging). But I have been treating it with coconut oil and it has been smelling and looking quite nice on the whole. I also enjoy the size, the weight, and the vacuum feet of the board.

Very high quality and beautiful
It looks great, but unfortunately it gets cut marks easily. On the plus side, it sticks really well to the countertop thanks to the suction cups. Luckily, I got it at a special price.

The cutting board smells
The cutting board has a very strong, unidentifiable, artificial smell. The smell transfers to the ingredients; even the knife blade smells of it. We tried unsuccessfully and with great effort to remove the smell using various washing techniques. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Not at all cut-resistant
It's a beautiful board; water beads off, and the non-slip feet are practical. However, after just one day of use (with a WMF "Yari" series knife), it looks like it's been used for years, not just bought two days ago. It basically serves its purpose, but I wonder if oak would be better or if it's "cut-resistant," as WMF claims.
