dough scraper
The silicone on my dough scraper is also disintegrating and becoming brittle. Like the few other reviews I've seen, a piece has torn off. Very disappointing... I would appreciate some feedback from WMF...

Dough scraper disappoints
After some time, the silicone started to crumble, even though the spatula was only ever hand-washed. I would also appreciate a replacement silicone scraper so that the entire spatula doesn't have to be thrown away. Not good advertising for WMF quality!

Great dough scraper!
These dough scrapers fit well in the hand, are easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and sturdy enough to scrape even firmer dough out of the bowl.

scraper brittle
At first, the dough scraper worked perfectly. Then the silicone part started to loosen, and dirty dishwater collected between the handle and the plastic. Very annoying. Then a sticky residue formed on the plastic surface when it was left unused in the drawer. Finally, the edge of the scraper tore and even broke off. And this after only a few years of use and always hand-washed! Isn't the silicone part available as a replacement? The stainless steel handle is still in good condition and too good to throw away.

Quality a la WMF
Indestructible and in use for years. Whether you need to scrape out pots, baking bowls, or molds, this dough scraper gets all the dough residue out of any container. The silicone is just right—not too hard and not too soft. It doesn't become brittle, greasy, or anything like that. Even after years of use, it still looks like new. 10*

Disappointing
At first, the dough scraper worked perfectly. Then the plastic started to loosen, and dirty dishwater collected between the handle and the plastic. Very annoying. Then a sticky residue formed on the plastic surface when it was left unused in the drawer. Finally, the edge of the scraper cracked and even broke off. Since then, I've been using a 75-cent dough scraper from a Swedish furniture store that just won't break.

Disappointing
At first, the dough scraper worked perfectly. Then the handle loosened in the plastic, causing dirty dishwater to collect between the handle and the plastic. Very annoying. Lying in the drawer, the plastic eventually started to give off fumes. A sticky residue accumulated on the surface. Finally, the plastic started to crack at the bottom edge of the scraper and eventually broke off. Since then, I've been using a 75-cent IKEA dough scraper that just won't break. With less than friendly regards.
