It's a shame, but the mill doesn't deliver on its promises in any way.
It's very strenuous to grate any nutmeg at all, especially if you're of average height. Because of its length (why does the shaft have to be so long?), you have to hold the mill quite high above the pot/bowl and exert a lot of force to grate anything. Furthermore, the grind isn't very fine. And then, unfortunately, the prongs of the pestle don't hold the nutmeg securely; instead, they grind it until it breaks, so you can only grind it laboriously to about half its size. Then it crumbles. The only practical thing about the mill is that you can store the spare nutmeg inside, so you don't scrape your fingers on the grater anymore. A real shame... especially considering the price. I'm very disappointed.

Too bad, not the promised result, rather unsuitable, impractical
You have to use a large nutmeg for anything to happen at all. The nutmeg is more peeled than actually crushed or ground. Too much nutmeg is also harmful. After half a nutmeg, it stops working. What am I supposed to do with the rest? It's a shame, as I'm usually used to top-notch functionality and design from WMF. This kitchen gadget isn't worth the money!
