Small, stylish, great design, I love the rice cooker!

Perfectly adequate for a two-person household, but really not for more. It looks very small at first glance, but it's perfectly sufficient. For me, it's much more relaxing to cook rice and similar dishes this way. I especially wanted the rice cooker for sushi rice. I've only tried it once, and a bit too much water remained at the bottom, causing the rice on top to dry out slightly. I'm sure there's a solution for that, though. That's why I'm only giving it four stars, and because it's simply not suitable for a large number of people. Otherwise, it's really good, easy to use, and all in all, a very sturdy product.

It does its thing...does what it's supposed to, and I think the rice is cooked perfectly!

Small device, big result!!!

ordered the mini rice cooker because I wanted to be able to serve rice as a side dish with Indian curries instead of naan (for a maximum of two people). My attempts to cook rice in a regular saucepan hadn't been satisfactory, so I tried this rice cooker. With the WMF mini rice cooker, I made the right choice and I'm very happy with it. The result (basmati rice) is just like in a restaurant – perfect, not too dry and not too soft. WMF has created an excellent product here: the workmanship and materials are high-quality (mostly stainless steel, less plastic), the features are well thought out (for example, the pot with the cooked rice can be easily removed without burning your fingers), it's wonderfully easy to use, it stores compactly (all the parts fit inside each other), cleaning is quick and easy, and the result tastes fantastic. The cooking time of approximately 20-30 minutes is acceptable, and the automatic keep-warm function of up to 40 minutes afterwards allows me to start cooking the rice, then prepare my main dish, and once it's ready, serve the warm rice as a side dish. However, I really only recommend this appliance for households of 1-2 people. For a dish consisting solely of rice (e.g., biryani), the amount of rice is only sufficient for one person.

It does exactly what it's supposed to. The rice cooks perfectly, and the cooker fits in any kitchen cupboard.
