Next, the water filter is inserted into the water tank using the insertion aid, filled with water, rinsed, coffee beans are added to the rear container, and you're ready to brew. The milk hose is attached to the front of the machine, the metal rod is connected to the hose, milk is poured into the container, and the desired product is selected. After brewing the coffee, you're prompted to clean the milk hose; everything is displayed and works flawlessly and intuitively. For multiple users, up to 16 profiles can be saved, which is great because we like to drink different strengths of coffee, allowing each user to save their preferred drink. The machine notifies you when water or beans need refilling, or when the drip tray or grounds container needs emptying. Everything works flawlessly; just be careful when removing the lid so the locking mechanism doesn't break. The many different coffee specialties you can prepare are fantastic, and the fact that the fully automatic coffee machine makes great milk froth is very important to me personally. The coffee specialties taste amazing, so you have your own private café at home and can enjoy high-quality coffee right there. The included little bag with the accessories is also a great touch. Not only is the milk and froth significantly hotter than with other machines – undoubtedly due to the WMF Perfection's innovative milk system – but the froth's consistency is also noticeably creamier and lasts longer than I've ever experienced before (using the same milk). Thanks to the self-cleaning programs for both the brewing unit and the milk system, cleaning the WMF Perfection is incredibly easy. My overall impression is overwhelmingly positive. Admittedly, the WMF Perfection 890L comes with a hefty price tag. But for anyone who values the finest coffee experience at a true barista level, this machine is perfect.

For all coffee drinks, you can adjust the coffee strength and the size of the beverage. The milk system cleans itself at the touch of a button after every coffee drink. When it's time to clean the nozzles, the system indicates this and guides you step-by-step through the removal, cleaning, and reinstallation process. Totally easy. The water tank has a 2-liter capacity, and the coffee grounds container is so large that it doesn't need emptying after just a few coffees. The WMF Perfection is also optimized for milk and tea, ensuring a smooth milk foam that is neither too runny nor too stiff. Milk is dispensed from a high-quality glass milk container, which is not standard on all WMF appliances. The WMF milk system is on par with those used in large catering establishments. Cleaning is well-designed and done at the touch of a button. The water tank can be easily removed from the front.
