Fits perfectly
Unlike others, this lid can be used in the oven up to 180°C. This is ideal for preparing food. It is heavier than other lids.

Saving, saving, saving (on quality) – that's WMF's philosophy today.
My parents' old lid weighed 1.33 kg and covered the pan perfectly. According to the product information and website, the current version weighs 1.23 kg. After trying it out and weighing it myself, I've discovered that this was all misleading. The new glass lid only weighs 1.03 kg and manages to slip on the pan every time, leaving a small gap and preventing it from closing properly. Unfortunately, customer service seems completely unconcerned and simply blames the system for errors... It's incredibly disappointing, sad, and unacceptable for a brand-name manufacturer with premium quality standards...

Great lid, fits all 28cm pans
I recently bought the lid and it seems to be of high quality. So far, I've used it with my new wok pan. It's a good combination. I can't comment on its long-term durability yet.
