It was a bad purchase
The lid is supposed to fit 28cm WMF pans according to the description. However, it doesn't fit. I've come to expect better quality from WMF and am therefore disappointed by the poor quality and the inaccurate description.

Beautiful lid without plastic
Very nice lid with a good stainless steel handle. It doesn't get hot and can be unscrewed for thorough cleaning if necessary.
