Zutiest disappointed
I bought this kettle from Amazon in 2024 with great anticipation, but after less than a year of use, it started leaking between the metal and glass… I disposed of it with bulky waste. Never again!!

At 100 degrees, the water overflows in most cases. And not just a little, but what feels like a third of the kettle. As soon as I saw that, I unplugged it. Otherwise, it would have overflowed. Now that I know this, I always stand right next to it, and as soon as it boils, I lift the kettle off the base. I followed the instructions... you can't really go wrong. Don't use too much tea. Close the lid... after all, you brew herbal tea at 100 degrees. Below that, it works reliably. So, from 90 and below. It should be mentioned that getting the limescale filter back into the kettle is incredibly fiddly. It doesn't fit properly. Only when the tea strainer presses down on the limescale filter does it seem to find any stability. When I made myself a tea bag and therefore didn't use the tea strainer, the limescale filter fell into my tea. Completely useless. I'm disappointed. My old kettle, which cost 10 euros, is more reliable.

It's a really great kettle that doesn't take up much space. It came in second place in a Stiftung Warentest (German consumer testing organization) review. I wouldn't buy it for €100, but at €60 it's a good deal.
