Mega kettle and top quality, would gladly buy again

Nice appliance, but the repeated beeping at the end of the cooking time is annoying. Having to press the button twice to start the cooking process is impractical. Pouring water out with the lid on is too slow and imprecise. The lid is very tight and cannot be opened after cooking without risking burns. Otherwise, the functions and temperature settings are fine. Returned the appliance...

The first impression is fantastic, but that's to be expected from WMF. The temperature settings and all the other functions still need to be thoroughly tested. In any case, it's a beautiful kettle.

On the one hand, it's very decorative and practical, with many useful details. On the other hand, it becomes unsightly very quickly in hard water (glass). However, I feel more comfortable with a glass container than with plastic or metal. Cleaning would be easier if the lid could be fully opened.

Very fast kettle. Luckily, I checked the filling opening by hand before buying it, in case it needed cleaning. The friendly sales staff allowed me to do this, so it wasn't a blind purchase. The different water temperatures correspond to the switch settings. If you put a small dish towel inside after use, even the annoying residual water is removed. Very nice design. The maximum 1.7 liter boiling water capacity is perfect for me.

Beautiful jug convenient for tea and water

I'm more than satisfied and glad that I chose this kettle despite the significantly higher price, and specifically opted for this combination product. I spent quite a while searching for kettles, and I noticed several things that you don't initially consider. I previously owned a kettle with a tea-brewing function (I think it was the smaller model from this Motel line) and was extremely happy with it for many years (except for the tea strainer, which I personally found a bit impractical – but that's all very subjective, of course). It was precisely because of the tea strainer that I examined this product very closely, as well as how the kettle felt in my hand, how easy it was to use, the size of the spout opening, how tightly/well the lid sealed, and what replacement parts could be purchased (in case the lid seal eventually became compromised, etc.). I also opted against my previous model because, firstly, I wanted a kettle with a larger capacity than 1 liter, and secondly, because I find the lid significantly better than on my old model. Unfortunately, my old WMF kettle became unusable for precisely this reason: the lid (which I consider a weak point from the start) broke at the hinge, and the company neither repaired it nor offered replacement parts. The 1-liter model is otherwise absolutely fantastic and, as I said, still perfectly functional. Of course, you have to clean the kettle according to the instructions after making tea, otherwise unsightly stains will remain! I read a review that criticized the opening as being too small for cleaning by hand... that certainly depends on the width/size of your hand (mine fits perfectly) – nevertheless, I first cleaned the kettle with my soft silicone dish brush, and that worked wonderfully. I'm very happy with this kettle and also very happy with the advice and patience I received in the store, because I really put several kettles through their paces in the WMF shop! Shopping should be fun this way!

We had the previous model, and the lid opened at the push of a button. However, cleaning wasn't ideal because the opening was too small! We returned that model because the lid was also far too stiff and difficult to open and close! It's simply not practical for everyday use! The developers should really use the products themselves! Because of the problems described above, we've now chosen the WMF Lumero 3 in 1!
