Hübsch zum anschauen, mehr aber auch nicht., on date
I would (will not) buy it a second time.
If you enjoy fiddly, intricate tasks, you'll love the removable limescale water filter. Putting it back in without breaking anything is a real art. The plastic on my kettle is also of poor quality and has a short lifespan. The tilting mechanism of the lid opener button broke, and now the button is stuck crooked in the handle and nothing works anymore.

The appliance arrived broken. The carafe doesn't sit properly on the electric hob. I request a return label and a replacement with a working new appliance.

Design flaw!
completely agree with Viktor (9.3.21), Marius (9.3.21), Matt CZ (12.2.21), and MP (25.5.20). It's stylish, yes, but poorly made/designed and unusable or repairable, even though only the spring mechanism of the lid's snap closures is broken (after 16 months). Hiding the fill level behind the handle is truly "ingenious." I hope this is covered under warranty.

The last kettle I bought from the discount store lasted longer.
The design is beautiful and simple, but from a design perspective, it won't reduce the amount of waste. It's frustrating that the device still works but is unusable and unrepairable, even though only the spring mechanism of the lid's snap closures is broken. Of course, these things always break down right after the warranty expires.

Great design, flop plastic parts
This is my second identical product. The plastic parts break very easily, and I could only close the lid by putting a stone on it. And before the warranty expired, the blue light went out. The only good thing about the kettle is the design. I'd give the designer 5 stars.

Broken after a short time, no spare parts available
With frequent use, the plastic parts in the lid become brittle (clearly visible when opening the lid), and as a result, the lid opening mechanism eventually stops working. The result, in our case after two years: otherwise perfectly functional appliances end up in the trash after a short time because, of course, these small plastic parts aren't available as replacements. At that point, I might as well just buy a really cheap appliance without the WMF logo every two years.

Short circuit after 2.5 years
The warranty is for 2 years. After 2.5 years, the device has now short-circuited. For the price, that's more than just regrettable. :-(
