Unfortunately, two complete failures.
We've had the kettle for a year now. During this time, the Lumero has broken down twice and had to be sent to the retailer for repair. I wouldn't have expected this from a WMF product in this price range. The appliance is used in a private household, meaning it's not subjected to intensive commercial use.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely wrong.
Aside from the design, temperature selection, and feel, we are beyond disappointed. We spent a considerable amount of money hoping for a durable, high-quality appliance. After less than two years, the kettle suddenly stopped working. It was simply dead. Nothing worked anymore. Since we were still within the warranty period, we received a replacement without any hassle. However, this one also broke down after only six months – the same problem. Suddenly, nothing happened when the power button was pressed. The kettle is simply unusable. We reported this to WMF, but our message was simply ignored. This is not customer-friendly. In our opinion, this is clearly a manufacturing defect. Therefore, we cannot recommend WMF and will no longer have any WMF products in our home. Even our previous, cheaper kettle lasted several years without any issues. But for €20, we didn't expect it to last even five or six years. WMF has completely failed us.

Unfortunately disappointing
The kettle was a wedding gift to us, and we were quite happy with it. However, after two years, it has broken down. Even regular descaling and proper use apparently couldn't prevent it. And of course, the warranty has expired. At that price, I would have expected better quality and a more durable product.

Great kettle with selectable temperature settings!
I use the kettle to prepare different types of tea, which is why the adjustable temperature settings are particularly important. The kettle is very easy to fill, accurately displays the water level, and heats the contents quickly and efficiently. I am extremely satisfied with the kettle, its performance, and its quality!

Satisfied!
I've been using this tea maker almost daily for two years, have only had to descale it a couple of times, and it still works perfectly and is nice and quiet once it's finished brewing. I use it for black tea, green tea, oolong tea, fruit tea, herbal tea, and white tea – it works for everything!
