Perfect (for students/singles)
I always used it in my dorm, but it's also great for a single person. I've cooked a portion of pasta with it, made rice dishes (you can make several portions of rice at once), and steaming vegetables worked perfectly too.

TOGO lid delivered broken
I received the WMF Mini Rice Cooker from Amazon today, but unfortunately the TO GO lid is broken and I would like a replacement. According to Amazon, it's not available. I'm very disappointed.

Great for 1 person
The rice cooker does exactly what it's supposed to. It cooks rice and grains wonderfully, and with a little experimentation, you can even make steamed dumplings using the steam function. I don't use the portable function because I don't want to wait for everything to cool down or risk burning my fingers.

Absolutely perfect – also for a warm breakfast.
wanted a small, practical appliance that would help me prepare a warm breakfast in the morning rush – without having to stand at the stove watching to make sure nothing boils over or burns. No one could tell me for sure if it would work – so I tested it, and yes, it works wonderfully! My method – for about two servings: Mix 1/2 cup of porridge with 3/2 cup of milk (1.5% fat) and pour it into the container. You can also add grated fruit, nuts, or dried fruit. Then set the timer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the flakes from sticking to the bottom – and simply enjoy! I also tried 200g of pearl barley with 280ml of almond milk and raisins, prepared using the rice cooking function – another delicious warm breakfast in no time. And cooking rice works perfectly, too!

A well-designed, high-quality device for small households with only minor drawbacks.
To be clear: this rice cooker isn't for families. You can certainly cook four portions of rice (or similar), but there's no room for seconds. However, for couples like us, it's the perfect appliance. I particularly like the sturdy, high-quality construction and the compact design. The coating on the pot hasn't started to peel yet, even though we put it in the dishwasher. I also find it practical that you can add salt, spices, or even butter directly to the pot. One downside for me is the cooking time. My old rice cooker was faster, but the quality wasn't as good. But if you're aware of this, it's not really a problem while you prepare other parts of the meal on the stovetop. With a little practice, you get the hang of the water-to-rice ratios and achieve excellent results. The steamer insert works perfectly. The lunchbox feature is fun; I haven't tried it yet, but I can easily imagine mixing up some couscous or rice salad in it and taking it to work.
