Neither sparkling wine nor champagne bottles fit inside.
The text states that it fits sparkling wine and champagne bottles, but that's not true. Tested with Austrian sparkling wine and French champagne. Returning it. The top plastic part looks rather cheap.

Very nice sparkling wine and wine cooler
We bought the sparkling wine and wine cooler two weeks ago. We are completely satisfied. It looks very stylish on the table. The bottles stay chilled for a long time, and with the ambient lighting, it's simply beautiful.

A very nice wine cooler with excellent cooling. The top LED ring is a bit unstable, but otherwise a highly recommended product.

I find the light ring at the top a bit wobbly and it doesn't always light up. The overall technology isn't very stable. A shame.

bought the cooler partly because I liked the design, and partly—and this was the main reason—because the saleswoman assured me that the power connection would prevent the temperature of the inserted cooling element from rising, but rather keep it constant. Unfortunately, this was incorrect information. According to the instruction manual, the power is only for the lighting and has absolutely nothing to do with the cooling function.
