Cools well, but the lighting is rather disappointing.
Charging is somewhat unreliable due to the lack of an indicator LED, and inserting the top ring is fiddly. The cooling sleeve is well-designed, and it accommodates a wide variety of bottle shapes.

Beautiful ambience
This sparkling wine and champagne cooler is very attractive, and the light creates the perfect ambiance! It works with a power cord or with three AA batteries or three rechargeable batteries, which are unfortunately not included! It's also very unfortunate that Fürst von Metternich sparkling wine bottles are too large and therefore don't fit in the cooler. You might also run into size issues with some champagne bottles...

Designer coolers with functional weaknesses
Positive: elegant design. Negative: cooling packs would be better than the sleeve. No batteries included; any Chinese product can do better for €20. Otherwise, very nice! Looks good, but limited functionality. Probably made in Asia! At this price, the cooler should also be electric... expensive, expensive.

Beautiful, but...
Anyone spending €75 on a wine cooler expects a perfect package. And this wine cooler certainly is (visually and in its cooling function: full marks!), except for the missing ice packs. You can easily order an additional cooling sleeve from WMF, but there's no mention of the need to purchase the ice packs separately. Yes, I would buy this wine cooler again, but I don't understand their sales strategy. An extra €5 and included ice packs would surely make many customers happier. ;-)

A functional eye-catcher on the table
The product is stylish and modern. The adjustable light intensity and the option of mains or battery power are great features. This allows you to provide cooling for any occasion – for example, in the garden where there's no power outlet, or even on the dining table without a bothersome cable. The separately usable cooling pack is also a plus. High-quality workmanship, as usual. A well-designed product, excellent!
