Dimensions changed, cleaning no longer possible
Unfortunately, my wife's glass broke. The initial joy over the replacement glass quickly faded due to the different dimensions and inferior glass quality. Since the larger glass is also impossible to remove from the holder, an unsightly residue will likely build up on the base of the holder in the coming weeks. It seems the only option left is to switch to a different brand. A shame, but nothing can be done about it.

Everything fine
The replacement glass for the French press fits perfectly. Very fast delivery and well packaged.

Easily breaks
The glass is very thin and breaks/cracks easily and is prone to cracking due to thermal shock.

Completely satisfied
We are extremely satisfied with the Erlangen branch. Whether you're buying something small (a glass insert for the French press) or doing a big shop (kitchen equipment for your child's first apartment), you always receive exceptionally friendly, competent, and price-conscious service. If you have a question about materials or the advantages/disadvantages of a product, you get an honest answer. We shopped there a year ago for our daughter and again last week for our son. I can wholeheartedly recommend this store and, not least, WMF products. The discounts with the customer card are also quite attractive, especially when buying a complete kitchen set and wanting quality.

So far so good.
After many years, the old glass insert broke. The new one makes a good impression and is still intact after four uses. However, the spout is a bit too small, which is why the pouring action isn't the same as the old one.

Glass insert
We ordered a replacement glass; the first one broke after a short time when we removed it, and the second one cracked in the stainless steel insert. The quality has drastically declined! Goodbye WMF!!!

Unfortunately, the quality is very poor.
was actually very happy with my French press for years. Unfortunately, the glass broke in an accident while cleaning it, so I ordered a replacement from their website a week ago. However, the following happened with the replacement glass: after less than two days of use, it simply broke inside the pot without me doing anything (!!!!!). I had already seen some negative reviews, which mentioned, among other things, that the replacement glass was a bit too big – I think that was the problem for me too. However, I was so convinced of WMF's quality that I ordered the glass anyway – now I'm quite disappointed...

Pouring behavior is erratic - glass thickness is good
I think it's great that WMF offers a replacement glass so we can continue using our press! The glass thickness seems reasonable to us, and we haven't had any concerns about its breakage resistance so far. Compared to our old glass, the pouring is a bit uneven, and you sometimes have to aim carefully when pouring the coffee. An improved spout design would be desirable.

A stopgap solution that further damages trust in the WMF brand.
This order is a last resort. Based on experience and numerous subsequent orders, the quality is unacceptable and destroys any remaining trust.
