BBQ LONO MASTER-GRILL

It's hard to believe, but using our table grill is life-threatening. We inserted the grill plates into the Lono Master according to the instructions for the first use (which isn't really difficult) and then preheated them on setting 4. After a few minutes of preheating, I placed food on the grill and felt a distinct electric shock. I had used stainless steel tongs, but hadn't touched the plate with them. The current flowed through the food. This was quite shocking, but with our guests waiting in the background, I went ahead and added the remaining steaks – using plastic tongs. To turn the steaks, I carelessly used a meat fork with a wooden handle and must have touched the metal part of the fork that protrudes into the handle, or one of the metal rivets in the handle, while turning one of the pieces of meat. This resulted in another electric shock, this time so strong that when I recoiled, I threw the fork away in a high arc, knocking my glasses off my head. We then unplugged the grill and let it cool down. Later, we cleaned and inspected the panels. We couldn't find any obvious defects. I then emailed WMF customer service and received an automated reply stating that my request would be processed as quickly as possible. That was it: my subsequent inquiries, sent a week later, also went unanswered. It's almost unbelievable: a company with a good reputation and seemingly high quality standards fails to respond to an email about a serious defect, even after two months and repeated requests. This demonstrates not only its failure in product quality but also what it thinks of its customers. For me, the conclusion is clear: never again WMF.

Ordering was easy, delivery was fast and reliable, and the grill arrived very well packaged. Grilling on this electric grill is a pure pleasure, especially thanks to the separate plates for fish and meat. Thank you to WMF and best regards.

The device is well-made and exactly as described/pictured. Packaging and shipping were flawless and exemplary! The grill works perfectly. Would gladly buy again.

Completely satisfied

The grill plates are very easy to assemble. Cleaning is very simple as almost nothing sticks. We also found the included table regarding temperature control settings and grilling time very helpful. All in all, a very good alternative for two people when the weather isn't so nice or when using a charcoal grill simply takes too long.

I would buy the grill again.

The grill is easy to adjust. Food can be grilled to perfection. Cleaning the appliance is simple.

I've only been able to use it twice so far. I think it could get hotter. Otherwise, it seems to be of good quality and easy to maintain.

The device is still undergoing testing! A review is not yet possible.
