Optimal product
Like everything from WMF, the best quality. My previous pitcher lasted 10 years! However, that was with Sylt's drinking water quality (no limescale).

Good quality, easy to handle
Good size – rare, good mechanism with push button, fine filter against limescale, and good appearance; good value for money. Sometimes, when holding the kettle at a fairly steep angle to pour out the last bit, it seems to drip from the bottom – is that normal?

Spare part shortage
I have an older model. Unfortunately, the limescale filter is difficult to remove and now has two cracks. Replacement parts aren't available here, even though the kettle is otherwise fine. Now it can only be used without the filter, or I have to throw away a perfectly good appliance.
