Unfortunately, it broke down after 3 years.
First it got louder and louder, now it's completely silent. The power supply could easily be replaced, but it's the electrical components inside the boiler that are the problem. Too expensive to throw away after such a short time! I expected more from WMF.

It doesn't last as long as the price would suggest...
Generally speaking, it's great to use. But now, after a good three years, my trusty kettle from premium manufacturer WMF has given up the ghost. Apparently, I'm not the first to experience this. It's a shame, because the cheaper one from the discount store still works, and as of today, it's taking the WMF's place.

Defective after exactly 2 years - as others have already written
The kettle broke down almost exactly after the warranty expired. For such a simple appliance and at that price, it's a real shame.

Lid defective after 10 months
The lid of the kettle broke after only 10 months of use. It's now extremely difficult to open to fill it with water. It's rubbish! I won't be buying another kettle from WMF.
