The switch on my Stelio 1.2L kettle broke after exactly 2 years and 5 months. According to WMF, repairs are only possible in Radebeul. This means double the shipping costs, so even without the repair, it's hardly cheaper than a new kettle from a different brand. Having a switch sent and installing it myself isn't an option either, because according to this Radebeul company, the switch is no longer part of WMF's spare parts catalog. For anyone interested in buying this kettle: there is currently no replacement switch available for the model offered here.
