MLF MILK CHOCOLAT FROTHER

In principle, it produces great milk froth, but unfortunately, the whisk breaks at the solder joints after barely a year of use. This happened with both the first whisk and the replacement whisk, which cost over €30. For the price of the whisk, you can get a complete machine from other suppliers. Customer service, or rather WMF's service department, doesn't seem to care. They simply don't respond. Or is it because I bought it through Amazon? Stay away from this machine.

As several previous reviewers have already mentioned, the tiny solder joints on the whisk break very easily. Our machine is only 3 months old. The milk froth itself is great. It's impossible to reach customer service, and therefore, a replacement of the defective whisk is also not possible.

It's a great appliance in principle, large capacity, good price, albeit a bit steep. After about a year, the whisk attachment broke down. After a lengthy discussion with customer service, I received a replacement part in November 2019. So far, so good. Last week, it happened again. The attachment broke again, and the frothing function no longer works. While it can be reassembled, it falls apart again immediately during frothing. And now what? The appliance's warranty has expired, and customer service isn't helping, even though the replacement part is demonstrably only 15 months old. A quick search in this forum or on other platforms reveals that this is a known problem. WMF, however, is doing nothing, abandoning its customers and seemingly unwilling to improve quality. I'm truly disappointed, as I experienced similar quality issues with the previous model. I thought I'd give the brand another chance, even though the purchase price was a bit steep. I've learned my lesson. Never again WMF. The company should also consider sustainability, because replacement parts can't even be ordered at your own expense. This means unnecessary electronic waste!

It worked well, but now the stirring rod has broken. After contacting customer service through their portal, WMF hasn't responded in five days. Judging by the reviews, this seems to be a known issue that WMF is simply ignoring. Another drawback: the appliance doesn't have an on/off switch and is always in standby mode. I wouldn't buy this appliance again.

Very nice device. Looks good and does an excellent job.

My device works perfectly – just as it should! The milk froth is just right. I previously had two milk frothers from competitors where the milk burned... That's never happened with this one. The hot chocolate turns out very well too. I'm completely satisfied so far. I can't understand the bad reviews.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the milk&choc milk frother. I deducted one point because, considering the price, too much milk still doesn't froth properly. The milk foam itself is just like in a café, and the homemade hot chocolate is divine!

The milk frother itself is very good, but the frothing wand breaks very easily, especially if you clean it: three tiny solder joints. I can't find a replacement part and have to pay for it myself. The frother is less than six months old. Very disappointed for €130.
