Milchaufschäumer Lono - nicht das was erwartet, on date
Completely different than expected
I was really looking forward to this milk frother. The quality of the foam with regular milk is indeed very good. With other types of milk, it doesn't froth at all. The reason I'm only giving it one star is that the whisk (which gets hot) has to be removed before pouring the foam/milk, otherwise it falls out. With other milk frothers, the whisk is magnetically attached (so it's still removable), which I find much better and easier to use. I'm very annoyed that I'm now stuck with this expensive appliance. I wouldn't buy it again.

Tip Top
Unfortunately, the first one I ordered broke down immediately after I switched it on. Now I have a new one, and it's fantastic. It makes great milk foam; I usually use oat milk, and the kids rave about the hot chocolate. It's super easy to use and clean. All in all, a great milk frother.

In principle, it makes great milk foam, but unfortunately the whisk broke at the solder joints after just under a year of use. I can't find a replacement anywhere, so the device is just sitting around unused. Really poor quality for the price.

Nice device
Fast delivery, beautiful appliance, looks high-quality. All parts, except for the base, are dishwasher safe. Unfortunately, I haven't tested it yet, but I will... I'll be surprised; I've always been very satisfied with WMF products.

Best milk frother
We've been using the Milk & Choc for years for lattes and hot chocolate. Everything's perfect, no complaints. Hopefully, it lives up to WMF's reputation and lasts a long time.

The best milk frother
The milk froth is sensational and cleaning is incredibly easy. No milk sticks or adheres to the machine. Simply a superb, top-of-the-line device.

It breaks easily.
Initially a great device – but after only 9 months it started making loud noises while frothing – after 1.5 years the whisk completely broke (the plate and whisk separated and wouldn't stay attached)... since it was a gift, there's unfortunately no receipt – customer service (30-minute wait on hold during the day!) has no way to replace it... you can buy a replacement for €20... no price reduction either... nothing... how long will it last next time? Never again WMF for me – it's just not what it used to be... (The milk froth was okay – but because the machine is so large, it only works with a sufficient quantity... and temperature control would have been nice too... oh well... lesson learned...)
