Deficient
Contrary to all other reviews, we find this egg cooker utterly inadequate. Getting a soft-boiled egg requires some serious technical skill. I find the handling incredibly poor. You have to discard the leftover water every time, since you always have to add a full measuring cup. Getting a perfect result requires a lot of trial and error. I haven't managed it yet, which is why it's been sitting practically unused in the cupboard. I wouldn't buy this thing again. What a waste of money.

I love this egg cooker.
This is my second Stelio egg cooker after six years. The plastic insert for the eggs broke on the first one. I personally find it great that you only have to add the specified amount of water using the water cup. Once you get the hang of the setting procedure for the desired hardness and egg size (which isn't difficult), the eggs turn out perfectly. The water from the cooking tray goes into the washing-up water. My ex-wife also uses this egg cooker (a gift from me) and is happy with it.

The operation is excellent. Everything is well thought out. Eggs cook exactly as desired thanks to the adjustable size settings (from large to small) and the ability to cook at different levels in one go – I was absolutely thrilled. No measuring of water required, just put the eggs in, select the desired size, and switch it on. You don't even need to unplug it. I also feel that the eggs cook faster than with my previous egg cooker. The beeping isn't too annoying either. A superb, well-designed appliance.
