Unfortunately, the sealing ring between the glass and metal parts probably smells slightly burnt.
Unfortunately, the sealing ring between the glass and metal parts smells slightly burnt after boiling water. Therefore, we returned it. It's actually a nice kettle, but not all the parts that come into contact with water are made of glass or metal. We returned it because of the silicone seal that touches the water.

High-quality small kettle
I bought this kettle for my first apartment and I'm more than happy with it. The 1-liter capacity is perfect and it feels very high-quality. It's also great for making tea. I would definitely buy it again.
