The lid won't stay on.
I can only agree, the lid doesn't stay on. I hardly used the pot and now, after just under a year, the lid falls off. If I had read the reviews before buying it, I would have chosen a different pot. I trusted the WMF brand and company :-( A lot of money for nothing...

Beautiful design, but the lid doesn't stay on.
The carafe has a very nice shape, but the lid constantly slips up a few millimeters. Sometimes it falls off completely when pouring. As I've read here, many other customers have been complaining about the same problem for a long time. I don't understand why WMF hasn't done anything about it and hasn't removed this product from their range or improved it. Unfortunately, I will have to return the carafe!

Too sensitive
I'm afraid I have to agree with the other negative reviews. The carafe is actually a very attractive vessel, but unfortunately far too fragile for everyday use. A piece of glass broke off the rim the first time I washed it in the dishwasher. Then, a large piece broke off when I washed it by hand. I'm very disappointed and am looking for a different, more durable product.

Actually, no stars at all.
The lid falls off after a year and a half; it's impossible to open without holding it. At the WMF store, they told us it's normal, a wear part. So, a very expensive part that's not even worth €10.00.

The lid suddenly won't stay closed anymore.
Everything was great for almost two years. Then yesterday the lid started falling off! A lot of money for poor quality. But what I find most disappointing is that WMF hasn't responded to any of these comments! Unbelievable!

The carafe is elegant and fits well in the hand.
The carafe feels good in the hand and fits well in the refrigerator door. It looks very elegant. I can't comment on the lid, as I didn't use it. I only used the carafe once; it was knocked over and cracked. What a shame! The joy was short-lived. I didn't even use the lid that day. It's brand new. Anyone interested in having it? Please get in touch.

Silicone lid falls out of bottle when pouring
The pouring mechanism of this carafe is simply ingenious, but unfortunately the silicone lid falls out of the bottle when pouring.

Faulty top
I have the same problem as the previous reviewer, the silicon lid won't stay in position and when pouring out the water, the whole lid comes out, too.

Design flaw
The carafe looks great, but the lid is a real design flaw. It keeps falling off when pouring!

The lid no longer stays on.
Same problem as many others have already described – the lid on our carafe no longer stays on. So, when pouring, there's a regular flood.
