Beautiful carafe with a flawed lid
bought the carafe almost exactly two years ago. Until recently, it was simply wonderful. Very pretty and I enjoyed using it. The lid never quite fit perfectly, though. There was always a gap. That never bothered me, however. Now the lid is so loose that it always cracks along with the glass when I pour the last bit. It makes a real mess! So, after two years, it's unusable. What a shame!

Beautiful but too delicate
My carafe was damaged on the rim during the first wash in the dishwasher. Now the lid doesn't stay on anymore either. I'm dissatisfied.

Silicone lid falls out of bottle when pouring
The carafe looks nice, but that's where the positives end. The silicone stopper doesn't stay in the neck of the bottle but slips upwards, so it doesn't hold when pouring, and the lid, along with the entire contents of the bottle, ends up all over the table. I strongly advise against buying this product.

The lid no longer stays on.
It looks elegant with a good spout, but after only two months the rubber lid no longer stays on. We bought two of these beautiful carafes, but they're practically unusable now because the lid can fall into the glass when pouring. I'll try to get my money back.

It looks great, but unfortunately the rubber lid doesn't stay on after only a short time! This has never happened to me with a similar product from a discount store! I'm disappointed!

Handle with kid gloves
The carafe is a real eye-catcher, but unfortunately far too fragile. One moment of inattention and it breaks. A replacement costs too much; I'd rather buy a more robust competitor's product for half the price...

It looks great – but after two months, a piece broke off the edge while it was draining in the dishwasher basket. Far too delicate – I was very annoyed.

Beautiful but not useful
The "smart closure" is functional and elegant, and that is the reason I purchased this carafe. However, the silicone top will not stay in the glass carafe, and as a result when I pour water the entire top assembly pops out. I've tried all types of soaps and washing/drying techniques, in an effort to get a better seal and adhesion between the glass and silicone -- with no success. I am wondering if the QA/QC on the glass carafe manufacture was inadequate and the circumference of the glass opening is out of tolerance (slightly too large).
