never go anywhere in the morning without my coffee! With the WMF Perfection 680, every cup of coffee is a treat, and the variety is truly outstanding. Whether you want a black coffee, cappuccino, or espresso, the machine's design is fantastic. The beautiful stainless steel look is exactly to my taste. The digital touch panel and light also enhance the machine. Unfortunately, it's a bit too tall, so it doesn't fit under my kitchen cabinets, but that's not a big deal. What bothers me is the milk container, which sits loosely next to the machine. It just doesn't quite match the rest of the machine. Also, brewing the coffee takes an incredibly long time. Especially if you want to make coffee for more than two people, you'll be standing there forever. On the plus side, the machine has a 3-liter water tank. That's absolutely sufficient for a household. What I also appreciate is that the WMF fully automatic coffee machine isn't excessively loud, unlike some other brands. I think the self-cleaning brewing and milk unit is simply brilliant. The Click-and-Clean cleaning system makes the cleaning process so easy.

After unpacking, we were surprised by how compact, stylish, and high-quality the machine appears. It has a stainless steel front, while the rest of the housing is black. After initial setup, the coffee machine performs a 6-minute rinsing cycle. Afterward, you can configure the Wi-Fi connection via the display. Fill the designated containers with coffee beans and water, and the machine is now "ready to start." When something needs to be emptied (rinsing water, coffee grounds) or refilled, this is indicated in red on the display. The sleek black display shows 21 different programs, including various teas, numerous coffees, and even iced coffee, which can be prepared using the touch controls. You can also save a coffee profile with your name, so everyone can quickly access their favorite coffee. The grinder operates at a pleasant noise level and offers five different coffee strength settings. Preparing various coffee drinks with milk is very easy: simply fill the included milk container and connect it to the milk hose. A thorough rinsing cycle is performed afterward. The Perfection 680 can also make various cold coffee creations, which we haven't tried yet as we prefer hot coffee. We are extremely happy with the WMF Perfection 680; it makes a wonderful, aromatic, very hot coffee and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Beautiful accents like the LED ambient light on the front and the brewing illumination make it a real eye-catcher. Initial setup was relatively quick; you're guided step-by-step through the settings, determining the water hardness, inserting the water filter, establishing a Wi-Fi connection, etc. Just add water and coffee beans, and you're good to go. The glass touchscreen is responsive and easy to use, which I really appreciate. The grinding noise is surprisingly quiet, unlike other machines I've owned. The 21 different coffee variations are simply amazing! There's a perfect drink for every coffee lover, and each can be customized and even saved. Up to 8 users can be saved. Another plus is the self-cleaning milk system and brewing system, ensuring the machine remains hygienically clean at all times. I personally find the coffee delicious, and you can prepare your favorite beverage in no time. I do have a few minor criticisms, though. I miss the option to use ground coffee and the ability to brew a pot of coffee at the touch of a button. But these are minor points that can be overlooked by those who don't care about them. The price-performance ratio is reasonable for a fully automatic coffee machine considering its features and overall quality.

By adjusting the grind and strength of each individual coffee, you can satisfy every coffee lover. The coffee tastes full-bodied and simply delicious, no matter which type you choose. Cleaning is incredibly easy, even after making milk-based coffees. The milk hose is even integrated into the cleaning process. The machine is also very attractive and well-made. The display is smooth and responsive, without any lag. I have to say, this is the perfect fully automatic coffee machine that leaves nothing to be desired. Fantastic!

Makes great coffee specialties, noise level is okay

With its top-of-the-line Perfection 600 series model, WMF delivers a high-quality fully automatic coffee machine in an elegant design. The coffee specialties taste delicious, and the cold coffee drinks are a tasty alternative for everyday use. Added to this is the incredibly easy cleaning concept with its permanently installed metal brewing unit and the new "Click & Clean" program for the milk system, as well as the simple operation via the touchscreen display. The Perfection 680 is the first WMF fully automatic coffee machine to offer three programs for cold coffee drinks. The two programs, "Chilled Coffee" and "Iced Latte," are essentially straightforward. You fill a glass with ice cubes, start the brewing process, and the coffee or coffee and milk, respectively, are dispensed hot and then cooled by the ice cubes in the glass. The most interesting of the cold coffee drinks is the "Nitro Coffee." For this, you again place a handful or more of ice cubes in a large glass (approximately 400 ml), but this time you also add the milk frother with its attached hose and start the brewing process. Initially, everything works as expected: The WMF machine dispenses hot coffee, which is then cooled by the ice cubes in the glass. On the downside, there's the relatively high energy consumption during espresso preparation, the somewhat noisy grinder, and the high price.

Setup/Exterior: The coffee machine is incredibly easy to set up. It's relatively slim, with the grounds container and drip tray accessible from the front. The water tank is located at the back. A white ambient light is included. Coffee Variety and Taste: The machine offers numerous coffee variations. Unlike other fully automatic machines, for example, the breakfast coffee is brewed in batches. Espresso is brewed classically. As a discerning coffee drinker, I was impressed by the taste. There's also an Italian cappuccino option, which brews the coffee first and then froths the milk. Some criticize the espresso as being rather watery, a criticism I don't share. However, preparing coffee with milk takes a long time. The taste, however, makes up for the wait. Cleaning: The coffee machine requires frequent cleaning, which is noticeable because the drip tray fills up quite quickly. The milk system should be cleaned after each use. This requires re-plugging it, which is somewhat inconvenient. After a week, manual cleaning is necessary, but this is easy: a step-by-step guide on the display provides excellent assistance. At the time of this review, I haven't yet had to perform any coffee system cleaning or descaling. Conclusion: I would buy the machine again.

I'm a passionate coffee drinker, and it has to be of the highest quality. This depends not only on the beans but, of course, also on the machine itself. This fully automatic coffee machine convinced me in every respect. I can prepare a wide variety of coffee specialties with it. 21 different recipes are available. From coffee, latte macchiato, café crema, cappuccino, espresso, ristretto, and more, as well as various types of tea and water at different temperatures. It's also possible to save your own custom profile, so I have my preferred coffee available at the touch of a button. The taste of the coffee is truly outstanding. Thanks to the DOUBLE thermoblock technology and the 5-stage stainless steel conical burr grinder, the coffee is ground to the perfect consistency. Of course, frothing milk is effortless. A milk container for storing the milk is included. The hygienic stainless steel suction rod is placed in the container with milk – the rest is done at the touch of a button. I also discovered something almost entirely new on the display: Under the "Cold" menu item, the programs "Nitro Coffee," "Chilled Coffee," and "Iced Latte" are available. While the machine does produce hot coffee, I prefer to pour it into a glass with ice cubes. With "Nitro Coffee," I also have the milk frothed. After a short pause, the beverage is drawn through the milk tube and steamed again. This gives the drink a fine layer of foam. All selections and settings are made via the large color display located on top of the machine. The fully automatic coffee machine connects to the internet seamlessly to install necessary software updates promptly. A large water tank is located at the rear of the machine, and a suitable filter is included. Using a water filter makes the water softer and the coffee tastes better. The coffee bean container has a rubber seal to keep the beans fresher and has a capacity of 250 g. The best feature is the brewing unit: the WMF Perfection 680 has a permanently installed metal brewing unit. The advantage here is that the brewing unit rinses itself regularly and is thoroughly cleaned automatically with the integrated self-cleaning program and a cleaning tablet. So I don't have to awkwardly remove anything. A big plus. Another very positive aspect is the noise level. Very pleasant and quiet, both during grinding and rinsing. The dimensions of the machine are 37 x 25 x 41 cm. I am absolutely satisfied with this fully automatic coffee machine; the coffee tastes really good, and the variety of preparation options has completely won me over.

Preparation is also very simple and can be easily customized (grind, strength, size) and saved as a personal profile. What I find particularly great is the self-cleaning brewing and milk unit. This greatly simplifies operation. Cleaning is generally very easy. Most parts can be quickly removed and are even dishwasher safe. All in all, the WMF Perfection 680 is a successful fully automatic coffee machine that more than meets my requirements and is definitely worth its price.

It boasts an elegant, sophisticated Cromargan stainless steel housing and an excellent milk carafe. The materials used throughout are of the highest quality. The coffee machine has a large 3-liter water tank with a built-in water filter. The display is operated via touchscreen. A wonderful feature is the ability to create eight different profiles, each with its own unique name. Everyone can customize their favorite coffee, adjusting the strength and fill level. Cleaning is a breeze; there are instructions and a QR code for each step, linking to a helpful video tutorial. But the most important aspect, and this is where the machine truly shines, is its quiet operation! Finally, I don't wake my wife and children early in the morning when I treat myself to a coffee before work. The coffee tastes absolutely fantastic and it's piping hot! The temperature is adjustable. The milk froth is just as it should be: beautifully firm and smooth. My favorite coffees are Italian cappuccino and caffè crema. With the caffè crema, I personally noticed—and I was able to compare it to my previous machine—that the WMF Perfection produces a thicker layer of crema. Impressive!
