Cleaning is a breeze; there are instructions and a QR code for each step, linking to a helpful video tutorial. But the most important aspect, and this is where the machine truly shines, is its quiet operation! Finally, I don't wake my wife and children early in the morning when I treat myself to a coffee before work. The coffee tastes absolutely fantastic and it's piping hot! The temperature is adjustable. The milk froth is just as it should be: beautifully firm and smooth. My favorite coffees are Italian cappuccino and caffè crema. With the caffè crema, I personally noticed—and I was able to compare it to my previous machine—that the WMF Perfection produces a thicker layer of crema. Impressive!

The display shows the various beverage options with very clear images and text. The 21 different options can be selected via touch control and saved directly to a user profile, which can be named. This saves time for multiple users, allowing for personalized service for guests. The grinder operates at a tolerable noise level, and the grind can be adjusted to five different settings. Milk-based specialties can be prepared quickly using the included milk hose, which connects directly to the coffee machine, and the included glass milk container. Following preparation, the milk hose is connected to the easy-clean system. Hot water and steam are then passed through the hose and cappuccino maker to remove milk residue and clean both the hose and the cappuccino maker. The cappuccino maker can be quickly removed for thorough cleaning. Simply take it out of the inlet and rinse it under hot water. The drip tray, including the cover, and the stainless steel grid are dishwasher safe. The rest is cleaned by hand. The machine makes a solid impression. Everything is easy to understand and use. The flavor profiles and various preparation methods were tested and found to be good. The adjustable water temperature is a major advantage. A powder compartment is missing. The machine isn't too loud when grinding coffee beans, and when cleaning is required, a detailed instruction manual can be displayed on the screen, making the printed manual unnecessary. Unfortunately, on the second day, we encountered a software update immediately upon switching on the machine, which involved a bit of a wait. This is rather counterproductive if you're short on time in the morning. It would be more helpful to have a notification that an update is pending and to install it when you have a chance. Twice now, our profiles have simply disappeared while we were creating them, and we've had to start over. A prompt asking if we want to delete the profile would be very helpful in this situation. Otherwise, we continue to enjoy our coffee and café latte and will try the other varieties when we have the time.
