The grinder is adjustable to five settings; we left it on the standard setting 3 and are happy with the taste. The machine asks for the water hardness at the start. A water filter in the water tank also prevents limescale buildup. Nevertheless, you should clean the machine regularly using the descaling program. The water tank is quite large, holding almost 3 liters. There are a total of 17 coffee programs, such as ristretto, lungo, Americano, caffè crema, and espresso. There are also three hot water settings for tea and three cold coffee drinks. Selection is made directly via touch on the LED display, where you can adjust both the strength and the size. You can save your personal favorites in the user profile and then recall them at any time. Up to eight users can be saved. The WMF Perfection is significantly quieter than our previous machine. The brewing time is also noticeably shorter. Cleaning is also very convenient. The brewing unit is self-cleaning. The coffee grounds are pressed very dry into the container and are easy to empty. Cleaning the milk system is also automated. Each step is explained on the display. All the coffee varieties we've prepared with the WMF so far have been delicious and looked very appealing. You can clearly taste that you're using a machine with a high-quality grinder. There's only one small point that could be improved. While the machine has Wi-Fi, it's only for receiving updates. I would like to see an app added to this, providing information about the machine (cleaning intervals, ordering accessories, number of drinks prepared, drink suggestions, etc.). My overall impression, however, is very positive. It's a truly high-quality fully automatic coffee machine with a wide variety of coffee options. The design is very well done, and the operation is intuitive. Cleaning is also simple and self-explanatory. And most importantly, the coffee tastes absolutely delicious!

We've been trying out all the different drinks over the past few days, and even the breakfast coffee is simply wow! It's also worth mentioning that there's a carafe function! You can customize the drinks to your preferences and save them in your profile, which we think is fantastic. The operation is incredibly easy, thanks to the large, clear touchscreen display. What I also really appreciate is the cleaning notification after each drink. Yes, I've left it enabled because I want to enjoy our fully automatic coffee machine for a long time. It's also super quick. After every milk-based drink, before I switch the machine off, I run the Click and Clean function. This automatically cleans all the milk system components. You just briefly reconnect the hose. This machine has a self-cleaning brewing and milk unit. I think it's fantastic because it works reliably and thoroughly. No disassembly is necessary. So, the aroma of fresh coffee fills the house every day, and it doesn't just smell amazing, it tastes amazing too. No watery drinks, the perfect drinking temperature, which you can, of course, adjust, as well as the coffee strength, grind, etc. It has a super elegant design that's a real eye-catcher in the kitchen. The taste is incredible. And if you just fancy a cup of tea, that's no problem either, thanks to the tea function or the hot water function. I am absolutely thrilled with this machine. It feels luxurious, both visually and in terms of taste.

After that, we were able to adjust a few settings, and shortly afterward, our first espresso was ready. We've already prepared several drinks, such as espresso, latte macchiato, cappuccino, hot milk foam, and hot water for tea. Each drink could be individually adjusted in terms of quantity and strength, which worked very well and produced delicious beverages. We found the automatic Click and Clean system particularly convenient after preparing milk-based drinks. The milk hose is simply attached to a cleaning nozzle and then cleaned with hot water or steam, saving you the hassle of cleaning with a brush. To clean the entire milk system, the cremiatore must be removed, disassembled, and cleaned individually after a few milk-based drinks. We now hope that the machine will serve us well for a long time and become a permanent fixture in our kitchen. In conclusion: The WMF Perfection 680 is a fully automatic coffee machine that, despite its very compact size, can prepare many delicious coffee specialties. It also offers the option of creating a profile with individual specialties for each family member, so that the settings don't have to be changed repeatedly.

It's small and compact, and it offers almost everything a coffee lover could want. Of course, it can make all the usual coffee varieties. It also offers three cold drinks, but you can only really get them cold by adding ice cubes. So everything is brewed hot. The water tank is a good size and holds enough for many cups. My only slight complaint is the bean hopper. After a while, the beans stop sliding down into the grinder, which is quite noisy. It's also a shame there isn't a second hopper for other types of beans or for filter coffee. Otherwise, it's a great machine.

Cleaning the milk hose then happens automatically at the touch of a button. The process is displayed precisely and in detail on the screen. The ground coffee in the grounds container is almost completely dry, which sets this machine apart from the competition. My conclusion: The WMF is certainly not the cheapest option, but it makes a great impression in daily use and, in my opinion, is worth the money.

I personally love iced coffee. So I was very pleasantly surprised that this coffee machine can also conjure up three different variations of tasty and refreshing iced coffee. Even a cup of tea can be prepared quickly and easily using the preset programs. This multitude of additional settings truly makes this machine something special. Last but not least, the machine impresses with its elegant and timeless design. I especially like the lighting. A real eye-catcher in our kitchen. Cleaning the machine is easy. The individual parts can be disassembled quickly and smoothly. Filling the water tank is also straightforward. Cleaning the milk frother after each use is very easy and efficient. In summary, it's a fantastic coffee machine that satisfactorily meets my needs.

What I don't like so much: - I don't like the look of the large WMF logo in that spot - The milk froth is indeed fluffy, but unfortunately collapses quite quickly - Cleaning the milk hose is supposed to be quick and easy thanks to the Click&Clean program. In reality, however, I find it cumbersome to have to keep switching the hose around. - There's no well-designed storage solution or holder for the milk hose and rod on the machine. All in all, though, it's a great machine that I would gladly recommend.
