WMF Perfection 680 Fully Automatic Coffee Machine

The WMF Perfection 680 fully automatic coffee machine impresses me in many ways, but there are still a few aspects that could have been improved in a €1300 machine. Upon unpacking, the WMF Perfection 680 reveals a truly space-saving design. Measuring just 37cm x 40cm x 25cm (H x D x W), this fully automatic machine fits even in the smallest kitchens. Visually, the Perfection 680 is immediately appealing, with its stainless steel finish looking high-quality and attractive. Setting up the machine (rinsing, inserting the filter cartridge) after switching it on is just like many other similar machines. The user is guided through the setup process step by step. The machine also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, but in my opinion, its functionality isn't particularly impressive since there's no app available. Overall, it offers 21 different beverage specialties, all of which can be selected via the responsive touchscreen. The coffee strength can be individually adjusted in 3 levels, although personally, I think the strongest grind setting could still be improved. What I also like is the ability to save my favorite coffee to my own profile and access it quickly. The milk froth and the crema on the coffee are quite convincing. First impressions: a high-quality machine. Easy to set up. Delicious coffee creations. Simple cleaning. I'm thrilled with the beverage selection, preparation, and taste. Whether it's a Caffe Crema, Caffe Latte, or Latte Macchiato – everything can be configured to your own taste and saved as personalized settings. Up to four family members can preset their preferences, such as coffee strength and quantity, and then use the machine even faster to prepare their favorite coffee the next time. I personally love iced coffee. So I was very pleasantly surprised that this coffee machine can also conjure up three different variations of tasty and refreshing iced coffee. Even a cup of tea can be prepared quickly and easily using the preset programs. This multitude of additional settings truly makes this machine something special. Last but not least, the machine impresses with its elegant and timeless design. I especially like the lighting. A real eye-catcher in our kitchen. Cleaning the machine is easy. The individual parts can be disassembled quickly and smoothly. Filling the water tank is also straightforward. Cleaning the milk frother after each use is very easy and efficient. In summary, it's a fantastic coffee machine that satisfactorily meets my needs.

We currently use a capsule machine and have been considering for a long time which machine to buy to replace the capsules with freshly ground coffee. The selection is vast, but we ultimately chose this one. Our impressions are truly phenomenal. The machine arrived very quickly, and preparing it for use was very easy. It comes in a box with detailed instructions, a milk container and hose, as well as other cleaning supplies. Since this is our first machine of this type, it was very important to us that the instruction manual was clear and helpful. Everything was well explained, and we had no doubts. The machine looks fantastic, and I love everything about it. The design and all its features are truly beautiful and useful. The touchscreen is very nice and functional, the water tank is large, the coffee tank is sufficiently large, and everything else is great. You'll only hear positive things from me. So far, we have no complaints. WMF has thought of everything. I'm really looking forward to all the coffee specialties it can prepare, as I'm someone who likes to try new things. Considering that I am someone who enjoys a lot of coffee and cares deeply about good coffee, my rating is 1000 out of 100.

Setup is very easy. The machine is ready within 15 minutes, including the rinsing cycle and Wi-Fi setup. The design is fantastic, timeless, and looks very high-quality. The coffee tastes very good. Cleaning is minimal, and the self-cleaning brewing unit is particularly convenient. The Click & Clean program is a great idea, but switching the hoses is a bit fiddly. Cons: - The Click & Clean program is supposed to be quick and easy. In reality, however, it's cumbersome to always have to switch the hoses - Water tank at the back can be awkward to fill depending on the machine's position - Somewhat prone to fingerprints

It significantly simplifies maintenance and ensures that the coffee always tastes fresh. The Click-and-Clean cleaning system is also ingenious. It makes cleaning the machine quick and effortless, saving me a lot of time and effort. A stylish machine with many stainless steel components, yet not as large as many other machines on the market. The incredibly simple cleaning system is fantastic; it even makes milk-based coffee drinks enjoyable. Excellent!
