Super pizza oven with over 400°C
I've used the appliance several times now. Initially, I tried using parchment paper, like when grilling, but the crust didn't get crispy at the high temperatures. So, I bought all the necessary ingredients to make an authentic Neapolitan pizza in the oven. This works very well once you find the perfect moment to take it out, and it feels like being on vacation. The automatic turntable effectively prevents burning, as you can quickly remove the pizza as soon as it starts to burn, and it turns out perfectly. Now, a few comments about the packaging and the appliance itself. The packaging is excellent, and the appliance feels heavier than a bag of cement, which speaks to its high quality. The black coating probably won't stay scratch-free for long; a stainless steel version would be preferable, as would a suitable cover. According to the instructions, the appliance should be stored indoors, so I assume a cover wasn't included. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy pizza like you're on vacation.

Perfect pizza made easy
I'm very happy with the WMF Pizzaiolo Pro. I was particularly impressed by the even heat distribution, the rotating plate, and the high maximum temperature. The oven reaches temperatures in a short time that are usually only found in professional pizza ovens. This results in a crispy crust and a beautifully airy interior – exactly as I had hoped. A real highlight for me is the automatic rotation of the pizza stone. This ensures the pizza bakes evenly without any manual intervention. This takes a lot of stress out of the baking process and guarantees consistently excellent results. It's extremely intuitive to use. Assembly, setup, and operation were completely straightforward and required hardly any consultation of the instructions. The integrated thermometer is especially helpful for keeping a close eye on the temperature. The design and workmanship appear high-quality and well-thought-out. The foldable components make storage and transport pleasantly easy – ideal if you want to use the oven flexibly. One small suggestion for improvement: A suitable protective cover and a transport container would be useful accessories and should ideally be included in the package. Overall, a well-designed, high-performance pizza oven that's fun to use – and not just for professionals. Therefore: I highly recommend it!

Super pizza
The Pizzaiolo Pro is truly fantastic! Setting up the oven was incredibly easy: simply unfold the legs, remove the polystyrene under the rotating mechanism, insert the stone, connect the gas cylinder, and you're ready to go. WMF recommends a 4-hour burn-in time on the lowest setting, but we let it burn in for 1.5 hours, which was sufficient. The design is simple and matte black, and everything looks high-quality. The rotating function ensures even heat distribution, eliminating the need to manually turn the pizza. Unlike our old pizza oven, the opening height is perfect, and there are no more problems if the dough rises a bit more. The height also makes it easy to bake pizza rolls. For the dough, we use approximately 450g flour to 265g water, 12g salt, and 0.4g yeast. The dough is left to rise for 24 hours at room temperature, then divided into 2-3 portions, shaped into rounds, and left to rise again for 3-5 hours at room temperature. The result: wonderfully thin, crispy pizza, just like you'd get baked in an Italian wood-fired oven. We also imagine it would be delicious for tarte flambée, flatbread, pide, bread, cookies, or quiche, and we'll definitely be trying out more recipes. All in all, a top-notch product: stylish design, easy assembly, and first-class pizza.

WMF Pizzaiolo Pro “Fantastico”
With the **WMF Pizzaiolo Pro**, you can bring the authentic pizzeria experience to your own backyard. Even upon unpacking, the pizza oven makes a high-quality impression with its simple, elegant design – it blends stylishly into any outdoor kitchen. The oven was securely packaged, but unfortunately, ours arrived with a small scratch on the surface. While this was annoying, it didn't dampen our enthusiasm. Assembly is quick and easy. The integrated gas igniter works reliably, and the turntable rotates smoothly and quietly. After about 25 minutes, the Pizzaiolo Pro reaches operating temperature: The turntable heats up to an impressive 470 °C, and the upper heating dome even reaches over 500 °C. The integrated thermometer is particularly practical, displaying the temperature with surprising accuracy – our measurements with an infrared thermometer confirmed the readings. This ensures reliable planning while baking. This intense heat produces a beautiful, even flame pattern – and pizzas just like you'd expect from a good pizzeria. In just about 60 seconds, the dough is golden brown, the base crispy, and the toppings perfectly cooked. A pizza peel is included, which is very convenient. It's sturdy and feels solid, but a bit heavy for our liking. Also, the lack of holes in the peel's surface means too much semolina sticks to the dough and burns during baking – a minor point to be aware of. Our conclusion: The WMF Pizzaiolo Pro brings authentic pizza enjoyment to your home and is guaranteed to delight family and friends. Anyone who loves pizza and wants to enjoy it at a true pizzeria level will be thrilled with this oven.

Just like from a pizza baker!
The WMF Pizzaiolo Pro completely won me over. The baking results are particularly impressive: the rotating pizza disc ensures the pizza is baked evenly – crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, with a perfect crust. The heat distribution is excellent, guaranteeing true Neapolitan quality. Lighting the oven is straightforward, and the temperature rises quickly to up to 450°C – in just about 15 minutes. Afterward, the heat output can be flexibly reduced to 50%, which not only saves energy but also maintains a constant temperature. The outer surfaces remain pleasantly cool, making handling safer. The workmanship is high-quality and well-designed – typical WMF. Everything feels sturdy and durable, from the housing to the rotating mechanism. Cleaning is also acceptable: while you do have to remove the pizza stones and unscrew the rotating mechanism, with a little practice, it's quick and easy. The pizza peel has a slightly odd shape, so you have to be a bit careful when picking up the pizza. It's best not to let the pizza sit for too long to prevent it from getting soggy. With these tips and plenty of semolina flour, it still turns out perfectly. Inserting the pizzas into the oven was always effortless. For anyone who bakes pizzas regularly and values quality, the Pizzaiolo Pro is a clear recommendation. It combines high performance, convenience, and design – delivering results that are both visually appealing and delicious!

I've now tried out the WMF Pizzaiolo Pro outdoor gas pizza oven a few times and would like to share my initial impressions. Regarding setup: It's a heavy package. But it was quick to unpack and set up, connect the gas, ignite it, and after just a few minutes it had already reached a high temperature. Operation is very straightforward: set the temperature control, let it preheat, and then wait a little longer until the stone is completely heated before putting the first pizza in. Pizza baking experience: I have to admit that I had to experiment a bit with the temperature until I achieved what I considered optimal. On my first attempt, I was surprised how quickly the pizza was ready – but you quickly get the hang of it. The automatic rotating plate eliminates the need to manually turn the pizza. However, at a high heat setting, the pizza rotates too slowly and burns quickly. The base becomes beautifully crispy, and the crust develops that typical stone-oven character with the leopard-print effect. Results: What a visual treat and incredibly delicious! The base is super crispy, the edges are airy, and the taste is fantastic. We made several different pizzas, some with more toppings, some with less. Every one turned out well. However, if the edges get too high, they can burn quickly. But that's not a big deal. In summary: easy to use, quick to heat up – exactly what you'd expect from an outdoor pizza oven. A peel is also included, which we think is great. It made putting the pizzas in and taking them out easy. The gas runs out quickly, though, if you're making several pizzas and the preheating time isn't enough. The 5-liter bottle is empty after two days, so it's better to get a larger one.

Perfect pizza, just like from a professional.
I'm very pleased with the even heat distribution and the high temperatures the oven reaches. This makes the dough, which I let rest for 48 hours, absolutely perfect – crispy with large bubbles in the crust, just like in a pizzeria. The automatic rotating function of the pizza stone is a real help, as it ensures the pizza bakes evenly all over without having to constantly turn or check on it. Operating the oven is very intuitive and straightforward, and connecting the gas cylinder was quick and easy. I find the integrated thermometer particularly useful; it allows you to keep an eye on the temperature at all times and precisely control when to put the pizza in. I also really like the design – modern and high-quality – and the foldable design makes the oven easy to store and transport despite its size. For me, this is the perfect solution for baking authentic, top-quality pizza at home.

Authentic Italian feeling at home
What a fantastic pizza oven! It heats up in just fifteen minutes, and then you can bake delicious pizzas in no time. Italian pizza in your own garden!
The WMF Pizzaiolo PRO arrived well-packaged – with minimal unnecessary packaging waste, which I really appreciate. Even upon unpacking, you can tell you're holding a high-quality appliance: very sturdy, cleanly manufactured, and a real eye-catcher. Assembly took only a few minutes – no screws required. Simply insert the stones, put the batteries in the thermometer, and the appliance is ready to go. In use, the Pizzaiolo PRO is impressive across the board. According to the lid thermometer, it reaches up to 400°C, and this heat is clearly noticeable in the baking results. The rotating stone ensures that the pizza is baked evenly on all sides – crispy base, perfectly browned edges, and juicy toppings. That's exactly how pizza should be! I'm particularly impressed by its versatility: besides pizza, we've also tried tarte flambée, bread, and other baking ideas – all with excellent results. This oven replaced an older Tefal Pizza Pronto in our kitchen, and the difference is enormous: significantly more power, better heat distribution, and overall much more professional results. Our family is thrilled – the WMF Pizzaiolo PRO is now in use several times a week. Whether for a quick dinner or a fun pizza night with friends, the appliance is not only enjoyable but also consistently delivers fantastic results. A definite recommendation from us!
