Same problem. When removing the bottle from its base, the bottle becomes unscrewed and the blade lid is lucked into the base.
I have bought one and used it just for 3 times but due to the above mentioned problem, changed it with new one but it worked just more 2 times and the blade stuck there again!

It handles everything reliably
We've had this appliance for about three years now and mainly use it to make fruit, but also seeds, almond milk, and cashew milk. We grind flax and chia seeds daily. So far, this is the only appliance that can handle these seeds. We use the different sizes of the drinking bottles every day and are very happy with them.

It's no good.
After two years of use, three times a month, the blade no longer rotates. Typical WMF bonus junk.

After 3 months, the attachment with the blade is leaking and the mixing liquid is running into the blender. This shouldn't happen with WMF!

Leaking mixer lid
Unfortunately, after only a few uses (around 30), the blender lid is leaking, and the liquid runs through the base every time. I only blend fruit with milk, sometimes a few nuts – but never with hard ice cubes! This shouldn't happen with a premium brand. Unfortunately, I've only used the appliance a few times in the past year, and it's now out of warranty... I'm curious to see if WMF will address this issue or not at all – that would drastically change my perception of this "good German brand"...

I've had this appliance for about three years now and I'm thrilled with it! It's space-saving, the smoothies even come out creamy with frozen fruit, and it's easy to clean. It's perfect for a single person! I even bought a second container so I can take two different drinks with me. Fantastic!

The blade no longer rotates.
used it for almost half a year and now the blade has stopped turning. It wasn't under constant stress and was only used about once a week, mainly for smoothies and chopping vegetables. This is not what I expect from a quality product.

Defective after 6 months
It's actually a great device, and the bottles in different sizes are fantastic. Unfortunately, the lid has started leaking.

Poor workmanship
The appliance itself is great. I received it as a gift and used it for several months. After a period of inactivity, I took my smoothie maker out again and discovered that the blade assembly was no longer engaging. So the appliance works, but the blades don't rotate. My inquiry with customer service went unanswered for several weeks. Apparently, they're already aware of the problem...
