Pros and cons
Unfortunately, the press broke at the shaft after only a year of moderate use. WMF promptly sent a replacement, which has now lasted for years. The removable sieve makes the press easy to clean.

Indestructible
I found this model under the Christmas tree in 2004, use it almost daily (much to the dismay of those around me), and it still works like new. It's almost like a Mercedes with a million kilometers on it.

Disappointing
Poorly made. The loosely inserted sieve inside didn't fit. Therefore, it went straight back.

No replacement filter available
After accidentally throwing the sieve away, I've now learned that no replacement parts are available. It's a shame; I expected much more from a premium manufacturer – even Fackelmann manages this. Product sustainability seems to be a foreign concept. So is customer satisfaction... I will therefore no longer be buying WMF products.

No replacement sieve
Very disappointing, as there's no replacement insert and the sieve insert bends quite easily. At this price point, I expect a lifespan of more than four months.

We use the press very often. Now the sieve has warped (apparently it's not indestructible after all ;) ), despite proper use. Apparently, there's no replacement sieve available, which I find hard to understand coming from a supposedly reputable manufacturer. After all, the press doesn't just cost €10. Very disappointing, WMF.

The press broke after 1 1/2 years of use, as is the case with many others. The weld point cracked. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt, as it was a gift and I expected better quality from a brand like WMF. Therefore, a complaint was not possible. As a "goodwill gesture," I was offered a 30% discount on the purchase of a new press. However, I would also have to pay for shipping. (This would cost me a total of €24.95.) Not only could I buy the press on Amazon for €19.99, but the fact that I will no longer purchase any products from this brand deters me from this rip-off.

Weld points cracked
Like others, our press also broke after less than two years of use, with the welds on the sieve basket cracking and the press becoming unusable. Highly questionable for a brand-name product from WMF. A real shame.
