Unfortunately, not a good purchase!
When cooking in a hurry, it's easy to accidentally insert the garlic press the wrong way round. You don't notice because the press still works, but the insert remains permanently bent. Even if you always insert it correctly afterward, the press cracks every time you use it. Furthermore, the screw holding the two handles together has come loose. I've only had the press for about six months and I'm going to buy a better product. I strongly advise against buying this garlic press.

Insert screen too weakly soldered
With frequent use, the side panels of the insert sieve become weak and the solder joints brittle, until they fall apart completely after only a short time since purchase. It's a shame, otherwise it would be a great kitchen appliance.

Planned obsolescence - no replacement sieve
The garlic press worked fantastically – absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the insert can also be inserted upside down... This happens very quickly in hectic kitchens – it gets squashed and the insert is permanently bent. I bought a pack of three new inserts right away – but there are absolutely no replacements! Instead of creating satisfied customers for 30 cents, they prefer to force them to buy a new one. In that case, a simple press from the supermarket would suffice. Shame on you, WMF – not only is there disappointment about the missing replacement part, but also a very bad taste in the mouth, as if obsolescence was deliberately planned into the product.

Unfortunately, replacement parts cannot be reordered.
Our press insert accidentally ended up in the trash. Unfortunately, we can't find a replacement either in stores or online. Now we'll probably have to throw away the almost new press. What a shame, it's still like new!

Unfortunately, spare parts are not available.
Unfortunately, the sieve fits in two different ways: once correctly, once incorrectly. It was damaged through carelessness, and there's no replacement part available. That's more than disappointing.
