I already own several WMF spice mills in the plastic version. This one is simply the elegant version for the table.

Grinder mounting broken
As many other reviews have already mentioned, the plastic holder for the grinder broke on ours today as well. Stay away from this grinder!

Mill - bracket of inferior quality
What a nuisance! Like many other mill users, the holder in my mill broke, and I was hoping for some goodwill from WMF customer service, but unfortunately, it was in vain – no exchange, no warranty, as the proof of purchase was missing (and after some time, I couldn't find it). However, I did receive a 30% discount voucher for the online shop. I'm not sure whether to be happy about that or still annoyed... After reading online, it should be clear that these mills need to be refurbished and shouldn't be sold as inferior goods!

Poor quality
The first time, the glass broke immediately, and after a replacement, the same thing happened again. Very annoying, especially at this price. I'll be returning them.

Glass shatters
The first mill broke within the first few days. After complaining, I received a new pair. A year and a half later, these have also broken. Always in the same place. The glass cracks/shatters at the top near the lid. And not during use, but at some point. You hear a bang in the spice cabinet and... it's broken! This is a real shame because I really like the look and size of them.
