feigning false quality
I'm extremely annoyed by WMF's poor quality and their apparent disregard for the issue, as the problem is well-known after reading previous reviews. The plastic inside our grinder also broke after less than a year. And WMF in Düsseldorf is acting as if they've never heard of it... an isolated incident, perhaps? What good is a warranty on the grinding mechanism if the other parts of the grinder are of the cheapest Chinese quality? It's a disgrace for a German brand – something they should definitely remember for the future.

High-quality set with a great design
The grinder in this set is very high-quality and durable. I've had the stainless steel version for many years and am still extremely satisfied. The design is timeless, and I liked the wooden version so much that I bought another one for a vacation apartment. Highly recommended!

This is a stylish product, but not for those on a tight budget. The selection of woods could have been more careful to ensure a better color match.

Poor quality!
Unfortunately, WMF's product quality is very poor. The lids are completely off-center, which looks and feels unsightly. Both mills appear very cheap at first glance. However, since the grinding result was good, I kept them. Unfortunately, after a year, the grinding mechanism of the pepper mill broke out of its cheap plastic holder. Customer service responded completely. The 10-year warranty only covers the grinding mechanism, not the flimsy holder!

Looks good on the outside, but it's a mess on the inside.
From the outside, it has a great design – unfortunately, as many other reviews have already noted, there's a lot of plastic used inside – especially the parts above the grinding mechanism, which break very often – mine broke twice in a row – and despite my complaint, customer service didn't respond. The staff in the store, however, were friendly. Nevertheless, plastic shouldn't be used in grinders from a brand like WMF... cost-cutting measures inevitably lead to quality issues... I won't be buying anything from them again!

Visually very appealing, but poor workmanship.
As the title suggests, the mills are very attractive, and the grinding result is satisfactory. Unfortunately, the first grinding mechanism in the first set I purchased broke after only about 1.5 years. Since I liked the mills so much, I bought the same set again. Unfortunately, the same defect occurred again. Therefore, I absolutely cannot recommend them, especially since I've read in other reviews that these defects apparently aren't unique to me.
