Excellent quality!
Very well made. The mills have been in use for a year and a half. The screw cap for filling doesn't need to be unscrewed for ages; it opens with one turn and stays securely closed. The grinding mechanism is also very well made.

Absolutely fantastic mills!
I completely disagree with the previous reviews! I've been using these mills for about 8 years. They do their job perfectly and look beautiful. I also bought them for my holiday home about 5 years ago, and there haven't been any problems there either. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

Broke after 10 minutes. Dangerous!!
Delivered, unpacked, and filled. After 10 minutes, a sudden cracking noise from the kitchen. The glass thread on one of the mills had broken. A call to customer service (after almost 10 minutes on hold with elevator music): "You ordered online from WMF. Request a return..." No documentation of the defect, no offer of a replacement, nothing! Very disappointing with both the product and the service.

The grinding mechanism is excellent and easily grips the contents. The wood could be better finished. Nevertheless, I love the mills and they are a real eye-catcher in the kitchen.

Unfriendly to customers
The item arrived damaged. After requesting a replacement, the response was no problem, but: please print out the return label and place a new order. This means extra work for the customer, plus shipping costs for the new order, and the voucher from the first delivery is no longer valid. "Great." Conclusion: I'll buy elsewhere.

This product is a complete disappointment. I used it happily for up to six months. It suddenly fell apart. The plastic part broke in two places.

Broken after first use
I would give zero stars if I could. We filled the mills correctly. The glass broke at the thread the very first time we turned them, and this happened with both mills. They're absolutely defective; they only look good. This is unacceptable for the price. My €20 mills from the discount store are better quality.

Unfortunately, the grinder broke after 4 years.
The visually appealing and timeless design convinced me to buy it. Unfortunately, the PVC grinder broke after only four years. Yes, we used the grinder every day, but I somehow expected it to last at least ten years. A shame. No more German quality. Verified purchase February 2017
