Absolutely NOT recommended!
I've owned this coffee machine for almost two years. It's already been sent in for repair/replacement five times, each time for nearly four weeks (including shipping). And what can I say? Now it's been sent back again without the problem being fixed. And anyone who thinks the machine will be replaced after the third return is mistaken (as was I). Because: EVERY defective part can be replaced twice! It's wonderful having to constantly go without your delicious coffee! Because I have to give the machine credit: WHEN it's working perfectly, the coffee is fantastic. That's worth one star. Because the "service" doesn't deserve any at all.

Coffee is good
The coffee is good, maintenance is well described and easy to perform, BUT your registration with the serial number is ON THE UNDER THE MACHINE!!! That's a really great spot! Who's going to turn this heavy machine upside down to register it? The competition displays this number on their screen!! Unfortunately, your system doesn't accept the number from the box; you probably just wanted an email address to profit from this! I'm very annoyed by this way of treating your customers.

am absolutely thrilled with the WMF 880L! The workmanship is top-notch, as you would expect from WMF, and the functionality is impressive across the board. I particularly appreciate the ease of use and the thoughtful details that make everyday life so much easier. The performance is outstanding, and the elegant design blends perfectly into my kitchen. Another major plus is how easy it is to clean – a real highlight compared to similar products. I can wholeheartedly recommend the WMF 880L and am so glad I chose this model. Many thanks to WMF for their consistently high quality!

WMF 880
Excellent advice, thank you very much. Unfortunately, the first machine had a problem, so it had to be returned. I was then able to install the second WMF 880I without any issues. It did cost time, gas, and parking, though. The saleswoman was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sadly, the Heidenheim branch is closing down completely. It's a real shame; there will no longer be anyone to contact in Heidenheim.

From A to Z, an absolutely correct purchase.
If I were to give it a school grade, it would be an A+. The purchase consultation with a WMF employee was perfect (30 minutes of informative and important explanations about the appliance). The WMF is a real eye-catcher, and the coffee maker has impressed not only us!
